West Bengal Board Proposes to Shut Internet Services During tenth, twelfth Exams

The West Bengal board has proposed to shut the internet provider at certain locations adjacent to the examination facilities to prevent examination leaks for Madhyamik and Uccha Madhyamik exams. The board tests are likely to be held as per time table in March.

Due to the Covid-19 situation, it was once now not feasible to take secondary and higher secondary examinations ultimate year. Prior to that, the query papers had been allegedly leaked soon after the assessments started out and there were instances of dishonest reported. The boards, however, had denied the charges.

On Tuesday, Chief Secretary HK Dwivedi held a video convention with the district governors and police superintendents of every district to put together for the secondary and greater secondary examinations in the state. The essential discussion in the course of the meeting was about the preparations made for the offline exams. A PowerPoint presentation was made at that meeting on behalf of the School Education Department wherein the web services had been proposed to be closed.
