West Bengal man arrested by NIA

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested a 37 year old man from West Bengal’s North 24 Parganas district for his alleged involvement in the CPI (Maoist) case in Assam’s Cachar district.

He was arrested near Narayana School from Mahishpata on Kalyani Expressway.

An investigation of the case revealed that the accused Chakraborty was an active member of the West Bengal-based CPI (Maoist).
