West Bengal teen dies in tiffin bomb explosion

A 17-year-old boy died in a steel tiffin box explosion near Kolkata on Saturday.

Sheikh Sahil was seriously injured in an explosion when he was trying to open a tiffin field that his grandfather, a rag-picker, had collected from Rahara police station area of ​​North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal.

He was taken to a government medical facility in Barrackpore, about 30 km from Kolkata. However, he died on impact.

Abdul Hamid, Sahil’s grandfather, said he picked up the metal tiffin pot and added it inside their house. He also proved that he informed his grandson Sahil to open and examine the incident.
