Bengal reported 723 new Covid-19 infections on Sunday, 774 recoveries, and 11 deaths, resulting in a total of active cases to 7,967. There has been a net increase of 293 active cases, from 7,674, in the last 43 days, when Bengal snapped out of a 97-day decline in active cases or number of Covid patients receiving treatment.
