Recently the process of installation of CCTV cameras has commenced at several traffic points in Rajganj block. Actually the installation took place under the initiative of Jalpaiguri District Police for additional vigilance in the area ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. Reportedly, on this Friday, CCTV cameras were installed in Rajganj’s Hati More on the Siliguri-Jalpaiguri National Highway (NH). West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on June 6 said at least 31 passengers from her state are still missing five days after the devastating triple train accident at Bahanaga Bazar railway station in Odisha's Balasore district. Ms Banerjee, who landed in Cuttack to review the condition of the injured passengers, said the bodies of 103 passengers from West Bengal had been identified and 86 of them had reached their destination. In West Bengal, around 200 injured persons were under treatment, she said. Odisha officials declined to comment on Ms Banerjee's statement about the 31 missing passengers.
