Why was Rohit angry with Inzamam?

Former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq has accused Arshdeep Singh of tampering with the ball against Australia. He requested the match umpire and ICC to be careful. Indian captain Rohit Sharma answered him before entering the semi-finals. He dismissed Inzamam’s accusations with a smile.

India will play against England in the World Cup semi-final on Thursday. Earlier in the day, Rohit was questioned about Inzamam’s allegations in a press conference. Rohit laughed upon hearing it. After that, the Indian captain said, “What will I answer? If you bowl on a dry wicket during the day, the ball automatically reverses. It’s just not happening in our case. It is happening to all parties. Sometimes you should think before you speak. Understand where we are playing. I am not playing in Australia or England.”

Arshdeep was reverse-swinging the old ball against Australia. As a result, the Aussie batters were having more trouble playing. After the match, Inzamam complained to a Pakistani news channel that Arshdeep had tampered with the ball.

The former Pakistan captain said, “Arshdeep was reverse-swinging the ball in the 15th over. Can the ball reverse swing so fast? That means the ball has been tampered with since the 12th or 13th over. The umpires have to keep their eyes open.” Inzamam also said, “When Pakistan’s bowlers reverse swing, many questions arise. We know how to reverse-needle the ball. How did Arshdeep reverse-swing in the 15th over? That means something has been done.” Former Pakistani batsman Salim Malik was also present at the event. He also tunes to the tune of Inzamam. Rohit replied to that.
