Reckitt, a global consumer health and hygiene company, has announced the winners of the second edition of Dettol Hygiene Olympiad, India’s largest hygiene Olympiad, under its flagship campaign Dettol Banega Swasth India. The 15 Olympiad winners and their teachers were honored at the launch of Dettol Banega Swasth India Season 10 in Mumbai, where they were rewarded with cash prizes from various Indian cities, including Budgam, Namsai, Uttarey, and Gir Somnath.
Dettol Hygiene Olympiad2.0 educated over 30 million children in India on handwashing hygiene, reaching 28 states and 8 union territories. The event, attended by 2500 gurukuls and religious education schools, provided accessible Sanskrit exam papers. The exam was divided into five levels for children aged 6-16 years, with Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) on health and hygiene.
A total of 15 students were awarded cash prizes, with the first position winning INR 50,000, the second position winning INR 35,000, and the third position winning INR 15,000.
