A woman was allegedly gang-raped by a man she met on a dating app and his friend at a hotel in Haryana’s Gurugram. According to the police, the victim said in her complaint that she met the accused through a dating app who later invited her to a hotel in Gurugram’s Sector 50 area on June 29.
The woman, in her complaint, further alleged that the duo recorded the entire act and threatened to make her video viral.
At the hotel, she said the man and his friend offered her food, after which she passed out, police said Tuesday.
“They took advantage of it to rape me and film the incident. When I protested after I regained consciousness, the accused threatened to make his video viral. Somehow I came back home but now I have reached the police,” the victim said in her complaint.
Haryana Police has registered an FIR against two unidentified accused under sections of gang rape at Sector 50 police station, SHO Praveen Malik said.
