With an investment of USD 1 Million, custom furniture startup Wooden Street is expanding into the markets of West Bengal by opening two new Experience Stores in Kolkata. It launched its first-ever store in the residential area of Salt Lake. This will later be followed by another store in the next 6 months. This newly-launched store is a one-stop-shop for furniture, furnishings and décor accessories.
Furthermore, Wooden Street plans to take its expansion further within East and South-East India. These experience stores will serve as a touch-and-feel point for consumers to experience the quality and services that the company has to offer. Wooden Street will continue its nationwide expansion by erecting multiple stores in the upcoming 12 to 18 months. The company currently operates more than 25 stores across 15 major cities of India, delivering a range of over 10,000 furniture and décor products to over 300 cities.
