52 killed in Russian mine accident

A total of 52 people, including six rescuers, were killed after smoke occurred in a coal mine in Russia’s Kemerovo Region. It was the most deadly mine accident in five years in the country. Strong earthquake of 6.3 magnitude tremorises Bangladesh

A shallow and strong earthquake of magnitude 6.3 was felt in Bangladesh today early morning which was reported at 5.15 am with its epicentre at a depth of 175 km east of Chittagong, Bangladesh (Myanmar-India border region), according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC). The National Centre for Seismology said that the earthquake occurred at 05:50 IST with a depth of 150 km nearly 106 km from Fayzabad, Afghanistan.
