Over 2 million from Ukraine applied for evacuation to Russia

Russian Foreign Ministry on Wednesday claimed that over 2 million people from Ukraine had applied for evacuation to Russia. Russian foreign ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, alleged that US experts instructed Ukrainian specialists how to develop bioprograms, during a press conference on the country adding  Russia is wondering if these biomaterials have fallen into the hands of nationalists.  Maria Zakharova also said that Russia would prefer to ensure Ukraine's neutral status.  Moscow's aims do not include overthrowing the Kyiv government and it hopes to achieve more progress in the next round of talks with Ukraine, Zakharova added  that Russia's military operation…

World Bank approves USD 723 million support for Ukraine

The World Bank approved a USD 723 million packages of loans and grants for Ukraine, providing government budget support amid the all-out conflict with Russia. The international lender approved a supplemental budget support package for Ukraine, called Financing of Recovery from Economic Emergency in Ukraine – or FREE Ukraine – for USD 489 million, the bank said in a statement. The fast-disbursing support will help the government provide critical services to Ukrainian people, including wages for hospital workers, pensions for the elderly, and social programs for the vulnerable, the bank statement said.
