The Tripura Cabinet has approved recruitment to 112 posts across various departments. Of the vacant posts, 107 vacancies will be filled through direct recruitment examinations, while five posts will be filled through promotion.
Addressing the media at the Civil Secretariat in Agartala on Saturday, Tripura Transport, Tourism, Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said the Cabinet also approved several welfare-oriented decisions.
The minister informed that 50 posts of senior computer assistant under the Directorate of Treasuries and Accounts of the Finance Department would be filled through the Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC).
He further stated that 43 technical posts in different categories under the General Administration Department would also be filled. Apart from recruitment decisions, the State Cabinet approved a new welfare scheme under which one unmarried and dependent son or daughter above 18 years of age from families of paramilitary personnel from Tripura who were martyred while serving the nation will receive a monthly allowance of Rs 2000.
