After “Spying” Row, Chinese Lady In Bihar To Be Deported Over Visa Rules

A woman from China has been detained by police in Bihar’s Gaya and will be send back due to visa violations. Earlier, the cops had a doubt on her of spying on Dalai Lama, who is lined up to participate at several ceremony in Bihar this week.

Strengthening security, police had publicized sketches of the suspected Chinese ‘spy’ earlier today on social media platforms requesting residents to provide information about her. The lady was later identified as Song Xiaolan.

According to reports, the Chinese woman had been residing in different parts of the country including Bodh Gaya since more than one year. However, there is no record in the foreign reports about the stay of the Chinese woman.

Security has been tightened in and around the Mahabodhi Temple Complex.

The Dalai Lama addressed a event today’s morning at the ‘Kaal Chakra’ maidan.
