Britannia Marie Gold taps into Bengal’s festive market with ‘My Pujo Moment of Gold’ campaign

Britannia Marie Gold has launched its ‘My Pujo Moment of Gold’ campaign in West Bengal, combining festive storytelling with consumer engagement by inviting people to share their cherished Durga Puja memories for a chance to win a gold coin.

The campaign focuses on everyday festive experiences, including family gatherings, neighbourhood preparations, conversations over cups of tea and traditions passed down through generations. Through the initiative, the brand aims to strengthen its association with the cultural and emotional aspects of Pujo celebrations.

Siddharth Gupta, VP-Marketing, Britannia, said, “With ‘My Pujo Moment of Gold’, we wanted to celebrate this very spirit by inviting people to share the moments that hold special meaning for them.”

Dipshikha Ravi, National Creative Director at Schbang, said the campaign captures the anticipation surrounding the festival, from dhaak rehearsals to pandal preparations and families coming together. Conceptualised by Schbang, the campaign features a digital film depicting festive rituals in a Bengali household, highlighting shopping, late-night adda and tea shared with Britannia Marie Gold biscuits.

The campaign offers a consumer participation mechanism through special-edition festive packs. Buyers must scan the QR code, upload a photograph of their ‘Moment of Gold’ and describe the experience in 50 words using #MyPujoMomentOfGold.

Selected participants stand a chance to win a gold coin, subject to terms and conditions. The initiative positions festive storytelling as a platform for brand engagement during one of West Bengal’s most significant cultural celebrations.
