WhatsApp is launching a new feature to make quicker payments within the app. This new feature will allow users to directly scan UPI QR codes from their chat list. The new Payment Feature is available to Android users via update 2.24.7.3. The UPI QR codes can be found on top of the chats list with shortcut. Meanwhile, screenshot restrictions are implemented for the upgraded feature. According to the sources, the feature is beneficial for UPI users in India.
