GAIL inks 10-year LNG deal with Vitol

GAIL (India) Ltd has signed a long-term agreement with Vitol Asia Pte Ltd to supply about 1 million metric tonnes of liquefied natural gas to India every year.Vitol will supply LNG from its global portfolio to GAIL for 10 years starting in 2026, the state-run company said in a statement on Friday. India to Import 10,000 MW of Hydroelectricity from Nepal over 10 Years

A trade agreement signed between Nepal and India on Thursday for Kathmandu to export 10,000 megawatts (MW) of hydroelectricity to India over the next 10 years, officials said, in a deal they expect will draw investment to the cash-strapped Himalayan nation.
