MSDE collaborate with CSCs to engage 40,000 apprentices

Shri Rajeev Chandrasekhar chaired the ceremony to exchange a joint declaration between the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) and Common Service Centres (CSCs) – Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to expand apprenticeship training in rural areas. As a part of the partnership, the CSCs will train 40,000 apprentices annually, extending opportunities to youth from nearby areas of local CSCs including students from Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) and beneficiaries of Jan Shikshan Sansthans (JSS). Bharti Airtel to acquire 23,000 MWh of energy for Nxtra data centres

Telecom operator Bharti Airtel on Monday(4th of September 2023) announced the plan of purchasing 23,000 MWh(MegaWatt hour) of renewable energy by the 4th quarter of FY24, for its data centre subsidiary, Nxtra. This will be done by obtaining stakes in 2 renewable energy project companies — Vibrant Energy Holdings and Continuum Green India.
