RGICL secures contract for Megha Health Insurance Scheme implementation in Meghalaya

India's Reliance General Insurance Co. Ltd. has been awarded the contract to implement the Megha Health Insurance Scheme (MHIS) and Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY)-Phase 6 in Meghalaya by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Meghalaya. RGICL secured the contract through competitive bidding. The GoM has reviewed MHIS 6's Health Benefits Package and implemented a revised scheme in convergence with PMJAY, offering ₹ 5,30,000 insurance cover for eligible beneficiaries on a family floater basis. Joe Biden orders ban on certain US tech investments in China

The order will prevent the investments in three fields: microelectronics and semiconductors, quantum information technology and certain artificial intelligence systems.
