Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) on Thursday said its managing director and chief executive Rajesh Gopinathan has resigned, effective September 15. The company's board has named Krittivasan as CEO-designate effective Thursday. He will take over as managing director and CEO in the next financial year, subject to shareholder approval, the company said in an exchange filing. Gopinathan was elevated in the role of Chief Executive Officer in February 2017 after serving as Chief Financial Officer since the year 2013.
