Convince us there is no ‘setting’ between you and CM Mamata: Former Meghalaya Guv to PM Modi

Ahead of the Modi-Mamata rally in Delhi, former Meghalaya Governor and former BJP state president Tathagata Roy took to Twitter to ask Prime Minister Narendra Modi to convince mankind that there is no ‘setting’ between him and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

“Kolkata is agog with the apprehension of a ‘setting’. Which skill a secret appreciation between Modiji and Mamata, whereby the thieves of Trinamool and/or the murderers of BJP workers would go scot-free. Please persuade us that there wud be no such ‘setting’ @narendramodi @PMOIndia,” Roy tweeted.

Mamata Banerjee used her meetings with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to send a message that “one has been set up,” BJP’s Dilip Ghosh alleged as the Bengal chief minister landed in Delhi for her rally with the prime minister later this week.

“Mamata Banerjee uses these conferences to give a sign that one has been put in place. The Center needs to understand this and not fall for it,” Ghosh said.
Sukhendu Shekhar Roy of the Trinamool Congress dismissed the claims, saying, “These are wild allegations leveled against our adversary.”
