UGC NET will be conducted in OMR sheet

UGC NET 2024: National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the UGC NET June exam 2024 in pen and paper mode (OMR). All 83 subjects of UGC NET will be conducted in OMR sheets. Earlier, the UGC NET pen-paper mode exam was discontinued in 2019, When the authority to conduct the examination was changed from CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) to NTA (National Testing Agency). UGC NET Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be conducted for 3 hours duration and no break will be given between the two papers.

From now students with four year undergraduate degrees can now directly appear for National Eligibility Test (NET) and pursue a PhD, according to UGC Chairman Jagadesh Kumar. Assam government declares of not granting permanent post
