Eicher Trucks & Buses, a business unit of VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (VECV), has inaugurated a dedicated Eicher Pro X dealership in Howrah, marking its first such facility in East India and strengthening its presence in a key commercial and logistics market. Future Automobile Agency Private Limited’s 3S dealership, located at Dey Motors Compound on NH-6, Chamrail, Kona, offers Eicher Pro X small commercial vehicles in the 3T and 3.5T GVW categories across electric, diesel and CNG powertrains. Spread across around 8,000 sqft, the facility integrates sales, service and spare parts, while featuring dedicated service bays, customer and driver lounges, digital displays and a vehicle customisation zone.
The dealership is positioned to tap the region’s expanding industrial and logistics activity, with connectivity to NH-16, Kona Expressway, NH-19 and the Kolkata Port corridor. It is also close to the Jalan Industrial Complex, Lakshmanpur Industrial Estate, Sankrail Industrial Park and the Jangalpur-Dhulagarh industrial belt, giving fleet operators easier access to commercial vehicle solutions and after-sales support. Abhishek Chaudhary, SVP, SCV-Sales & Marketing, VECV, said Pro X was developed for modern last-mile applications including e-commerce, parcel delivery, FMCG and industrial goods movement.
The facility also provides EV charging infrastructure, EV-trained technicians, GPS-enabled breakdown assistance, EOS Vans and Bikes for doorstep services and power backup, aimed at maximising vehicle uptime.
