EuroKids Preschool has launched Junior PlayGroup, a structured early learning programme designed for children aged 18-24 months, aiming to bridge the gap before formal preschool education begins. The programme, introduced across more than 2,000 EuroKidscentres nationwide, is targeted at supporting developmental milestones during the early years through a research-based curriculum.The 30-week programme features 450 learning experiences, including 150 curated activities, with each 90-minute session focusing on sensory exploration, movement, storytelling, communication, practical life skills and creative engagement. The curriculum is built around four developmental pillars—routine and regulation, communication, brain development, and exploration and curiosity.
According to EuroKids, the programme is delivered by specialised early childhood educators at a 1:6 teacher-child ratio, while classes are conducted in TÜV Nord-certified centres to ensure a safe learning environment. KVS Seshasai, CEO, Pre-K Division, Lighthouse Learning (EuroKids), said the initiative addresses a critical gap in India’s early learning ecosystem by providing a science-backed programme for children below the conventional preschool age. He said the first two years of life are crucial for brain development and that the programme is designed to foster communication, confidence, curiosity and emotional wellbeing through structured experiences.
The company said the launch follows growing demand from parents seeking structured developmental programmes for children under two years of age. Admissions have opened across participating centres, with classes commencing from July 20.
