Jishnu Dev Varma, the former Deputy Chief Minister of Tripura and the newly designated Governor of Telangana, is set to take the oath of office on July 31st at the Raj Bhavan in Telangana.
Dev Varma, along with his wife, will travel to Telangana on the day of the ceremony. The oath-taking event is scheduled for 3 PM. As per protocol, two ADCs – one Major from the Indian Army and one IPS officer – along with the Joint Secretary of the Governor, arrived this evening to coordinate with Dev Varma.
Earlier today, Dev Varma visited the Mata Tripura Sundari Temple in Udaipur, Gomati district, one of the 51 Shakti Peethas, to offer prayers. He was accompanied by Finance Minister Pranajit Sinha Roy.
