Har Ghar Tiranga campaign being run by those who didn’t hoist flag for 52 years: Rahul Gandhi

In a fresh push for the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Har Ghar Triranga campaign, senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, referring to the RSS, said the record shows that those running the Har Ghar Triranga campaign are from an organization (RSS) that has carried the tricolor for 52 years. Did not lift.

Rahul was staying in Karnataka’s Hubli district on Wednesday. In the pix he posted about her visit to the Karnataka Khadi village industry, he is seen wearing the national flag and ironing.

“Today it was a great pleasure to meet all the employees who weave our tricolor at Karnataka Khadi Gramin Industries located in Hubli, Karnataka. Lakhs of countrymen have sacrificed their lives to keep the tricolor constantly aloft, but one organization has always refused to accept the tricolor, has not hoisted the tricolor at its headquarters in Nagpur for 52 years now and has continuously insulted it,” he said.

“Today, people coming out of equal employers are saying tricolor records and walking in ‘Har Ghar Teranga’ campaign,” the Congress leader added.

Attacking the BJP-RSS, Rahul asked, “Why has the RSS not hoisted the tricolor at its headquarters for 52 years now? Why is the livelihood of those who make the national flag from khadi destroyed? Why was the import of machine made, polyester flags from China allowed?

The Congress leader said on Twitter, “They could not stop the Congress during the freedom struggle. They cannot be in a position to celebrate now.” His tweet came on a day when the Enforcement Directorate sealed off the Young Indian office on the National Herald premises and barricaded the celebration headquarters and the residences of the Gandhis.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his latest ‘Mann Ki Baat’, appealed to every individual to alternate their social media display picture with the national flag.
