Himani Best Choice (HBC), the Rs 10,000-crore edible oil brand manufactured and marketed by Emami Agrotech Ltd, has unveiled a refreshed brand identity, packaging and marketing campaign as it targets brand revenues of Rs 15,000 crore over the next three to five years.
The revamp features a new logo, contemporary colour palette, distinctive graphics and refreshed food imagery across its Soyabean, Palm, Sunflower and Kachchi Ghani Mustard Oil variants. The company said the new packs have also been standardised in line with Central Government guidelines across pouches, PET bottles, jars, tins and bulk containers.
As part of its growth strategy, HBC has entered the Foods segment with flour and besan products, initially targeting institutional consumption. The portfolio includes Multipurpose Maida and Bakery Maida (50 kg each), Atta (50 kg) and Matar Besan (30 kg). The company plans to expand into additional food categories.
Launched in 2014, HBC is the market leader in Soyabean and Palm Oil in West Bengal and holds the No. 1 position in Palm Oil across Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand and East Uttar Pradesh. It also has an estimated 70% market share in Mizoram.
Emami Group Director Vibhash V. Agarwal said the company aims to build aRs 1,000-crore Foods portfolio for HBC over the next three years through calibrated expansion.
Emami Agrotech has a 12,000 TPD refining capacity and manufacturing facilities in Haldia, Krishnapatnam, Kandla and Jaipur.
