The national competition of IndiaSkills 2021, organised by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), the nodal agency for skill and entrepreneurship development, working under the guidance of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), commenced on 7th January at Talkatora Indoor Stadium, New Delhi. On Monday, Tamil Nadu government released detailed guidelines on the conduct of Jallikattu events ahead of Pongal festival in the state. On Monday the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) informed in its bulletin that the country registered 4,033 cases of Omicron.
