Infosys reports 11.4% upsurge in October-December quarter

The company’s revenue grew 7.6 per cent to Rs 41,764 crore in the third quarter as against Rs 38,821 crore in the same quarter last year.
India’s second-largest IT services firm Infosys Ltd on Thursday reported an 11.4 per cent rise in net profit for the December quarter (Q3) of FY25 at Rs 6,806 crore as against Rs 6,106 crore in the same quarter last year.
The company’s revenue grew 7.6 per cent to Rs 41,764 crore in the third quarter as against Rs 38,821 crore in the same quarter last year.
Infosys has raised its constant currency (CC) revenue growth guidance for FY25 to 4.5-5 per cent for the third consecutive quarter as against its previous guidance of 3.75-4.5 per cent growth. Infosys shares closed 1.21 per cent lower at Rs 1926.20 on the BSE on Thursday.
CEO and MD Salil Parekh said the company’s robust revenue growth and broad-based year-on-year growth in a seasonally weak quarter, as well as strong operating parameters and margins, are a clear reflection of the success of its differentiated digital offerings, market positioning and key strategic initiatives.
“We continue to strengthen our enterprise AI capabilities, with a particular focus on generative AI, which is seeing growing client demand,” he added.
