JW Marriott, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s global portfolio of more than 30 brands, has launched its ‘Stay in the Moment’ campaign film featuring global brand ambassador Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, positioning well-being and meaningful experiences at the centre of its luxury hospitality offering.
Building on the collaboration announced in June, the film was shot at JW Marriott Juhu in Mumbai. It follows Bachchan through wedding celebrations, shared meals, toasts and moments of discovery, conveying the importance of slowing down and reconnecting with loved ones. The campaign opens with the question, “What makes a moment a moment?” and concludes with the message that a moment becomes meaningful when people fully engage with it.
The launch comes amid growing demand for wellness-led luxury travel. According to a 2025 study by The Luxury Group by Marriott International, 90% of affluent Asia-Pacific travellers cited wellness experiences as a key factor in booking decisions, up from 80% in the previous year. The findings underline the growing importance of wellness in influencing travel choices and hospitality strategies.
In Kolkata, the campaign highlights opportunities for luxury hotels to differentiate themselves through personalised stays, wellness offerings and experience-led packages. Such strategies could appeal to affluent travellers in Kolkata and eastern India seeking premium hospitality beyond conventional accommodation.
