Recently The Manipur High Court has ordered the deletion of a paragraph from a March 2023 order, which directed the inclusion of the Meitei community in the Schedule Tribes (ST) list. Two Manipur Police commandos were killed and two sustained bullet wounds after heavily-armed militants targeted them amid renewed violence in Moreh, a business town close to the Myanmar border, on this Wednesday.
