Over 300 farmers in Meghalaya’s Jaintia Hills have embraced organic and integrated farming techniques through a specialized training workshop aimed at improving agricultural productivity and sustainability. Organized by Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Community College (DDUCC) and the Skill Development Centre, Wahiajer, under North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), the workshop provided farmers with practical demonstrations and interactive sessions that blended traditional methods with modern farming advancements.
