Mizoram's UD&PA Minister K. Sapdanga inaugurated the state's first Common Bio Medical Waste Treatment Plant at Tuirial on Wednesday. The project, costing Rs. 9.71 crore, marks a significant advancement in Mizoram's healthcare infrastructure. The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India, contributed Rs. 2 crore to the project, which falls under the Aizawl Smart City Ltd initiative in collaboration with the Mizoram Pollution Control Board.
