Three Primary Health Centres (PHCs) in Mizoram — Phullen, Hnahlan, and Reiek — have earned certification under India’s National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS), marking a significant milestone in the state’s healthcare development. The PHCs scored 90.68%, 93.36%, and 90.76% respectively, reflecting high standards in patient care, staff competence, and operational efficiency. With this latest recognition, Mizoram now has 34 Health & Wellness Centre-PHCs (HWC-PHCs) certified nationally, moving closer to its target of 57.
