Political temperatures in Mizoram are rising as senior Mizo National Front (MNF) leader Lalruatkima launched a strong attack on the ruling Zoram People’s Movement (ZPM), declaring that the government is losing public confidence and will struggle to return to power in the 2028 Assembly polls. Addressing party workers at Serlui South in Kolasib district on October 31, the former minister claimed that the ZPM government has failed to fulfil expectations since taking office two years ago.
