Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma on Wednesday inaugurated a state-of-the-art Trauma Care Facility at Civil Hospital, Aizawl, terming it a “major step forward” in strengthening the state’s emergency healthcare system. Funded with ₹121.50 lakh from the Centre and ₹450 lakh from the state, the trauma unit features a triage centre, treatment rooms, X-ray and CT scan units, and a minor OT, along with staff quarters.
