The Border Security Force (BSF) and the state police's CID (Special Branch) conducted the operation in response to a particular information input. About 36 kilometers from Aizawl, in Seling village, the team stopped a pickup truck and seized 3,008 rounds of 7.62 millimeter live ammunition, valued at an estimated Rs 16.54 lakh.
