The Mizoram government has urged the National Skill Development Corporation International (NSDCI) to set up a Japanese language learning centre in the state capital, Aizawl, to help local youths secure employment abroad, particularly in Japan. Mizoram Youth Commission (MYC) chairman Malsawmzuala Ralte placed the request during a meeting with NSDCI Chief Executive Officer Alok Kumar in New Delhi on Thursday. The discussion centred on the growing demand among Mizo youths for jobs in Japan, especially in the fields of caregiving and nursing, where language proficiency is a key requirement.
