Tuberculosis Deaths in Mizoram Hit Six-Year High

According to official data issued under the National TB Elimination Programme (NTEP) of the National Health Mission, Mizoram recorded up to 145 tuberculosis-related deaths in 2025, the highest number in the previous six years. 2,275 individuals, including 911 women, had a TB diagnosis throughout the year.
