Modi’s mother Heeraben passes away at the age of 100

Heeraben Modi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother passed away at the age of 100 on Friday. She was admitted to UN Mehta Hospital in Ahmedabad when her health deteriorated and was later discharged.

PM Modi wrote Prime Minister Modi wrote on his official Twitter handle, “A glorious century rests at the feet of God.”
Sharing her photo, the Prime Minister wrote, “I have always felt that trinity in Maa, which includes the journey of an ascetic, the symbol of a selfless Karma Yogi and a life committed to values.”
He added, “When I met her on her 100th birthday, she said one thing – always remember – act with wisdom, live with purity.”

PM Modi will reach Ahmedabad by 7.30 am. Sources said, “Prime Minister Modi left for Ahmedabad, flagging off Vande Bharat from Howrah, Kolkata and other developmental works of railways and Namami Ganges and National Ganga Council meeting as planned. PM Modi may attend via video conference.”
