Motorola launches edge 70 pro+ with quad 50MP camera system, AI features at Rs 44,999

Motorola on Thursday launched the motorola edge 70 pro+, its latest flagship smartphone, featuring a quad 50MP pro-grade camera system, AI-powered performance, premium design finishes and a starting launch price of Rs 44,999. The smartphone is equipped with a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 primary camera, a 50MP 3.5x periscope telephoto lens with 50x Super Zoom Pro, a 50MP ultra-wide and macro vision camera, and a 50MP autofocus selfie camera. The device also supports 4K 60FPS video recording across all cameras and includes AI-powered imaging features through motoAI.

Motorola said the edge 70 pro+ introduces its new “Collections by Motorola” design language, offering Satin-Luxe, Sculpted Wood and Twill Inspired finishes in Pantone-curated colours. The handset sports a 6.8-inch Super HD+ Extreme AMOLED quad-curved display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution and peak brightness of 5200 nits. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme processor, the smartphone comes with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, 256GB UFS 4.1 storage and a 4600mm² vapor chamber cooling system. Motorola claims the chipset delivers a 40% CPU boost, 30% GPU improvement and significantly faster AI processing.

The device houses a 6500mAh silicon-carbon battery with 90W TurboPower charging and 15W wireless charging. It also offers IP68 and IP69 ratings, MIL-STD-810H certification, Dolby Atmos-powered stereo speakers and moto ai 2.0 features including NEXT MOVE, Recall, Remember This and AI Image Studio. Speaking on the launch, T.M. Narasimhan, Managing Director, Motorola India, said the edge 70 pro+ combines premium craftsmanship, advanced AI capabilities and flagship-grade performance to deliver a “no-compromise” smartphone experience. The motorola edge 70 pro+ will be available from June 11 through Flipkart, Motorola.in and leading retail stores across the country.
