Various battalions of Assam Rifles conducted civic action programmes in the state for the welfare of public. Chieswema Battalion: Chieswema battalion established eight new solar street lights at Marian village, Wozuro sub-division of Wokha district. According to PRO HQ IGAR (N), the solar lights will also augment security during the night. LSU dismayed at unsatisfactory ATM service

Lotha Students’ Union (LSU), Wokha has expressed serious concern over the “unsatisfactory ATM service” within its jurisdiction. In a press release, LSU president, Ashanthung Humtsoe and assistant general secretary, B Mhajan Tsopoe stated that it was unfortunate to notice how many of the ATM booths were either out of service or out of cash. 2 cooperative marketing buses launched

Department of Cooperation, Nagaland launched two cooperative marketing buses (CMB) for Pang and Tamlu villages here at the department's office premises on Thursday. The two buses were launched under the Integrated Cooperative Development Project (ICDP), a scheme under National Cooperative Corporation (NCDC) where an area development approach is adopted for development of cooperatives. Twelve Army personnel have tested positive for COVID-19 in Nagaland’s Kohima district, officials said on Thursday. Health and Family Welfare Department officials said 12 Army personnel of Jakhama army camp quarantine centre tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday. A group of army personnel had returned to Jakhama garrison from different parts of the country last week and were put under strict quarantine as per the military SOP rules within the camp jurisdiction, officials said.
