Tripura Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu attended the 39th Convocation of the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) held in Agartala on Tuesday.
Addressing the gathering, the Governor emphasised the need to align educational thinking with the evolving global landscape.
He said that distance learning, online education and digital education are no longer just alternatives, but have become important parallel streams alongside the conventional education system.
Speaking at the convocation ceremony held at Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhawan, he highlighted the growing importance of digital learning in today’s world.
On the occasion, the Governor awarded degrees to 30 selected students. Regional Director Dr. Chandrashekhar Putta also addressed the programme.
The Governor urged students and educational institutions across the state to integrate digital resources into daily learning and make them an essential part of the education system.
