Postal Ballot Voting For TTAADC Election Begins In Tripura

The postal ballot voting for the TTAADC election began in Tripura from 10am on Tuesday.
“Polling personnel and officials engaged in election duty have cast their votes through postal ballots. The voting process will continue for two days, on Tuesday and Wednesday,” an official said.
The TTAADC elections are scheduled to be held on April 12.
Long queues of voters were witnessed at polling centres in different parts of the state since morning.
People turned up in large numbers and participated in the voting process with enthusiasm.
Officials informed that all necessary arrangements have been made to ensure smooth and fair conduct of the election.
“The voting process is being carried out peacefully, with no reports of any untoward incidents so far. Security has been tightened across the region to maintain law and order,’ official sources said.
