Nissan Motor India Private Limited (NMIPL) has unveiled the all-new Nissan TEKTON, marking its global premiere in India as the company’s flagship premium C-SUV and a key milestone in its resurgence strategy. The new model is priced from Rs 10.49 lakh for the T160 Manual Transmission range and Rs 14.99 lakh for the T280 Manual Transmission and T280 DCT variants.Inspired by the legendary Nissan Patrol, the TEKTON combines bold SUV styling with premium interiors, advanced technology, turbocharged performance and comprehensive safety features. Manufactured at Nissan’s Chennai plant under the “One Car, One World” philosophy, the C-SUV will cater to the domestic market while also being exported to regions including the Middle East and Africa, reinforcing India’s strategic role in Nissan’s global manufacturing network.
The TEKTON features an all-turbocharged engine lineup with Turbo T160 and Turbo T280 powertrains producing up to 163 PS and 280 Nm of torque. It offers a choice of six-speed manual and six-speed wet-clutch DCT transmissions, dual-drive modes and GT-R-derived Mirror Bore Coating technology. The SUV also boasts Google built-in connectivity with Google Maps, Google Assistant, Google Play and access to over 200 apps, alongside more than 55 connected car features through the MyNISSAN App.The premium C-SUV offers segment-leading features including a 700-litre boot, panoramic sunroof, dual digital displays, ventilated powered seats, tri-tone cabin with Japanese-inspired craftsmanship, Arkamys 3D surround sound system, wireless charging and advanced air purification.
Safety highlights include six airbags as standard, over 40 safety features, 17-plus ADAS technologies, a high-strength steel body structure, 360-degree parking assistance and a 3D Around View Monitor. Nissan said bookings for the all-new TEKTON are now open across its retail network and digital platforms, with the model expected to play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s premium SUV presence in India while strengthening its export ambitions.
