Lok Sabha constituencies candidate gets cancelled, Assam

On Monday, the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Assam has informed about cancellation of candidates from the third phase in Assam. According to the sources, the nominations of eight candidates contesting from four constituencies have been cancelled. Whereas two from Guwahati Lok Sabha constituencies gets cancelled. Further, other cancelled candidates include one from Kokrajhar, four from Dhubri, one from Barpeta. Also, only 52 candidates have been found valid for the third phase.
