RSL Group and Casio have announced a strategic partnership to strengthen keyboard education across India through co-branded learning resources and a nationwide teacher development programme. The collaboration brings together RSL’s expertise in contemporary music education and Casio’s global experience in musical instrument manufacturing.
As part of the partnership, the companies will jointly develop three physical learning method books — Beginner Piano Method Book, Beginner Keyboard Method Book and Advanced Keyboard Method Book — supported by interactive digital lesson content featuring Casio instruments. The books will be supplied with selected Casio keyboard models.
The programme will provide a structured progression using Casio’s Slim & Smart keyboard range for beginners, Standard and Indian series keyboards for progressive learning, and its premium Digital Piano lineup for advanced and professional users.
The initiative targets more than 150,000 music enthusiasts and 1,000 music teachers across India over the next three years. Teacher development workshops will commence in 2026 and will be conducted by experienced RSL trainers from India and the UK, covering teaching techniques, learner engagement, contemporary repertoire and creativity.
In Aizawl, the city’s inclusion in the nationwide programme positions it as an important regional centre for the expansion of contemporary keyboard education. The workshops are expected to give local educators access to structured teaching resources and professional development opportunities.
RSL CEO Tim Bennett-Hart, RSL India Country Director Arup Gohain and Casio India Managing Director Takuto Kimura welcomed the collaboration as a step towards making music education more accessible and engaging.
