Siemens launches 14th scholarship programme for engineering students

Siemens Limited has launched the 14th edition of its Siemens Scholarship Program, inviting applications from deserving and meritorious first-year engineering students enrolled in government engineering colleges across India. The programme provides financial assistance to students with limited economic means throughout all four years of their engineering graduation.

Based on the German Dual Education model, the initiative combines technical education with industry exposure and holistic development to help students become industry-ready engineers and technicians and pursue sustainable careers in engineering, research and development, or manufacturing. Siemens said the programme aims to promote technical education by leveraging its technology, expertise and industry know-how. Half of the scholarships are reserved for girls to support equal opportunity in engineering education.

As of 2026, more than 2,300 students from 176 government engineering colleges across 28 states have participated in the programme.

In Aizawl, the scholarship could support eligible students in Mizoram by reducing the financial barriers associated with engineering education while providing exposure to industry-oriented skills and career pathways, particularly for students from lower-income families.

Students aged up to 20 years can apply if pursuing Mechanical/Production, Electrical, Electronics/Instrumentation, Electronics & Telecommunication, or Computer/Information Technology. Eligibility requires 60% in SSC, 50% aggregate in HSC or equivalent, 60% PCM aggregate and annual family income of up to Rs. 2 lakh. Applications close on October 10, 2026, at [www.siemens.co.in/scholarship](http://www.siemens.co.in/scholarship).
