Later in the session, gold market movements flattened out and silver trimmed some of its initial advances, leading to MCX gold trading at Rs 1,52,793—higher by Rs 77 or 0.05 percent—and MCX silver trading at Rs 2,40,875, up by Rs 987 or 0.41 percent at the time of reporting. Internationally, the Comex market reflected a similar divergence with gold falling and silver rising, where Comex data showed gold easing by 0.05% to $4,374.10 per ounce and silver advancing by 0.74% to $67.025 per ounce. Domestically, retail bullion markets recorded minor price reductions across all gold purities, with bullion.co.in figures indicating that 24-karat gold traded at Rs 1,53,540 per 10 grams, 22-karat gold at Rs 1,40,745, 20-karat gold at Rs 1,27,950 per 10 grams, and 18-karat gold at Rs 1,15,155 per 10 grams on September 23.
