Digital investment platform Groww accounted for 37 per cent of the NSE active investor base in Tripura as of June 2026, indicating a growing shift towards digital investing in the northeastern state.
According to Groww, the figure means roughly one in every three investors in Tripura invests through the platform. The company said the trend reflects rising digital connectivity, financial awareness and access to capital-market products across the Northeast.
Groww users account for nearly 24 per cent of the NSE investor base of 36.31 lakh across the eight northeastern states. Sikkim recorded the highest share of Groww investors at 41 per cent, followed by Arunachal Pradesh at 40 per cent.
In Tripura, around 28 per cent of Groww investors are below 25 years of age, while another 28 per cent are aged between 25 and 30. Investors above 30 constitute 43 per cent of the platform’s investor base in the state. Women account for around 17 per cent of Groww investors in Tripura.
In Agartala, the data points to increasing participation in digital investment products among younger residents, alongside continued participation from older and more experienced investors. The trend also reflects the wider expansion of technology-enabled access to financial markets in the state.
Groww offers products including mutual funds, stocks, IPOs, trading, commodities, MTF, bonds and wealth management solutions. Its advanced tools include option chains, charts and terminal-based trading features.
