Man shot at by neighbour in UP

A 48-year-old man was shot after he objected to a neighbor's pet defecating on sand bought for building a house. The victim Sukrampal is being treated at the hospital and is in a critical condition, reports said. According to police, Sukrampal had piled sand near his under-construction house at Titawi village under Titai police station limits. The accused is absconding and efforts are on to arrest him.

Three more new Covid-19 cases in Ladakh

On Monday three fresh Covid cases were reported in Ladakh, taking the tally to 28,313. All new Covid cases were detected in the Leh district. In this covid total of 228 people have been infected in Ladakh. Of these, in Leh 168 died, and in Kargil 60. In Leh and Kargil districts total of 3,764 people, including over 2,477 air passengers, were screened for COVID-19 on Sunday.

Covid-19: new cases in Andamans and Nicobar

The number of Covid-19 cases in Andaman and Nicobar Islands rose to 10,091 as three people tested positive for the infection. On Monday this list was updated. Mann condemns attack in Kabul

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has condemned the attack on a Gurdwara in Kabul and urged the Center to provide immediate assistance to ensure the safety of minorities in the Afghan capital. Delhi court cancels Satyendra Jain’s bail

A Delhi court has rejected the bail plea of Delhi minister Satyendra Jain, who was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in a money laundering case. Special judge Gitanjali Goel rejected Jain's relief, saying the forum was not fit to grant him bail. After hearing the arguments of Jain and ED, the court reserved the order.
