Legendary Oriya singer and music director Prafulla Kar died at his residence here at the age of 83 due to old age ailments. After dinner on Sunday night, he complained of chest pain and died soon after at his Satya Nagar home. Fuel prices across the country remained unchanged on Tuesday, which is the sixth straight day when petrol and diesel rates remained stable. India logs new covid-19 cases

The Union Health Ministry in a statement on Monday said that the Supreme Court gave its order dated March 24 in the Miscellaneous Application No. 1805 of 2021 in Writ Petition (C) No. 539 has fixed the timeline to claim their payment for ex-gratia assistance of Covid-19 deceased as announced by National Disaster Management Authority.
